- How did you get into Robert Cray?
11-20-09 11:11AM
Hi Everyone
I first got into Robert's music in the mid 80's when I was about sixteen, working in a petrol station and I collected enough voucher stamps to redeem his "Strong Persuader" album, which I played pretty much till the cassette got worn out, simply loved his voice and guitar playing, especially on the track "New Blood".
I've recently co-written a song in tribute to the great man himself called "Ain't Talkin' Bout Chicago" which I will post to my SoundClick and Myspace pages when its completed if you'd like to check it out (I'll post a message here when it is uploaded) and I also hope to see him for the first time in Dublin on the 22nd of July next, really looking forward to it!
