Slightly dysfunctional. ( Can’t commit my own songs to memory.)
I’m serious about my music when it almost seems too late to be caring. Live on the 18th floor in the heart of downtown Toronto Canada. Have a little “buskers amp” and a Boss loop Station. So I practice and get payed for it. My musician friend Lee Van Leer has me come jam one night a week. You can Google him.
On my “bucket list- - To jam with Robert Cray before I leave this rock. The man’s got music that thinks my language.

A modest but cozy gathering of supporters. I heard the name Robert Cray years ago being bandied about as among the Who's who of Blues artists but was quite impressed that his agent (or promoter) had managed to get his video into mainstream music circles back then. It's very pure stuff in my book - and although I've never been a music collector, I'm gonna collect a compilation of his works to practice with. My musical energy runs the same direction as his. Let's hear it for YouTube folks! I tried to get along without an internet connection for the Summer but couldn't make it past the first month. If you're out there Robert ... I remember my Navy days out on the coast when I'd go to a Coffee house outside of Halifax and listen to Sonny Terry and Browney McGee when ever there was a favorable wind to carry them into port. Back in '63 I had a bunk mate who recorded southern blues radio signals straight onto a mono magnovox tape recorder. Inland nobody really heard much outside of what signals might come out of the Chicago area. Reception is clear on the coast though. There was always a sizable black community in the Halifax area of course stemming from the underground railroad days so there ways always a fan base for the music. P.S.- Nice place you got here.
