August 11, 2009 is the date set for the release of Cray's first studio album in four years. Titled This Time, the nine-track CD will be released by Cray's own Nozzle Records and distributed by notable folk and blues label Vanguard Records.

Bluesman Robert Cray has had plenty of highlights in his 30-plus-year career -- Grammys, collaborations with the likes of Albert Collins, Eric Clapton and BB King -- but one of the most unique aspects of his career is that he has his own signature guitar, the Fender Robert Cray Standard Stratocaster.
